Niki Sadeki, born in Iran and raised in Canada, is now based in New York. She creates emotionally rich music that transcends genres, ranging from melancholic to euphoric. Over the past decade, Niki has transformed from a passionate music selector into an experienced producer, steadily building a catalog of original works and remixes that showcase her cinematic and atmospheric approach to sound design.

 

Niki’s productions are immersive, characterized by melodic motifs, hypnotic rhythms, and a delicate balance of light and shadow. Her sonic landscape draws inspiration from the complexity of human emotions, incorporating influences that range from grunge and traditional Persian music to deep techno. The result is music that not only moves bodies but also resonates, lingers, and forges connections.

 

As the founder of Deep House Vancouver, Niki has been a strong advocate for the musical community since 2016. Her curated podcast series and radio shows have highlighted both emerging and established artists. Additionally, her DJ mixes for platforms such as Balance Series, When We Dip, Electronic Groove, trndmsk, and 6AM Group have gained international attention. Niki also curated two volumes of "Mirror for the Sun" on Alt Orient Records, which celebrated cross-cultural talent. Niki has performed at iconic clubs such as Fabric in London, Sisyphos , Else, Watergate, Brooklyn Mirage, Kater Blau, Shelter Amsterdam, and Module. Additionally, her presence has graced acclaimed festivals including Fusion Festival, Garbicz, Summer Contrast, Bucht der Träumer, and the 3000 Grad Festival.

 

Niki has also ventured into the world of Burning Man, making appearances at Robot Heart's residency fundraiser in Oakland, as well as fundraisers for Pink Mammoth and Distrikt in Los Angeles, and the Alborz fundraiser in New York.

 

Whether performing for intimate crowds or large dancefloors, Niki's sets seamlessly blend melodic house, indie electronica, and hypnotic techno, always guided by a strong emotional narrative. Whether she's behind the decks or in the studio, her mission remains the same: to create spaces where people can feel deeply and express themselves freely. Currently, Niki is focused on expanding her production portfolio, with several EPs, remixes, and collaborative projects scheduled for release in the upcoming years.
